Dr. Yimeng Song receives funding through the 2024 GeoCAFE Scholars Program

October 1, 2024
We are proud to announce that Yimeng Song, a postdoctoral associate in the Bell Team at Yale School of the Environment, has been selected to join the inaugural cohort of GeoCAFE Scholars. This prestigious program, funded by the US National Science Foundation and supported by the NIH Climate Change and Health Initiative, brings together professionals across geosciences and health to address the impacts of climate change on health.

As a GeoCAFE Scholar, Yimeng will engage with leading experts across multiple disciplines to accelerate research and action in this critical field. Their research, focused on the intersection of environmental health disparities and geospatial data science, will benefit from this unique opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of scholars working to address climate-driven health challenges.

Yimeng’s participation is supported by a conference funding award, which will enable them to attend and present their work at conferences beyond their discipline, further expanding the impact of their research.
