Hayon Michelle Choi was awarded funding as a 2021 Hixon Research Fellow to study effect modification of green space on temperature mortality relationships

March 30, 2021
Hayon Michelle Choi was funded to be a  2021  Hixon Research Fellow for her future study  on effect modification of green space on temperature-mortality relationships  by the Hixon Center for Urban Ecology. She plans to examine if greenness modifies the temperature (heat, heat waves, and cold) mortality risk. The motivation is to explore the effect of green space on temperature-mortality association in a multi-city, multi-country dimension, considering cold, heat, and heat waves.
