Comments on the Ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards

October 7, 2020
Kelvin Fong submitted a public comment on behalf of ISEE North American Chapter on the Review of the Ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards.

In the comment, he outlined the public health and environmental implications of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s decision to retain the ozone 8-hour standard at 70 parts per billion (ppb). Targeted at policymakers, this document presents scientific evidence showing that a ozone standard lower than 70 ppb would not only benefit human health, but also the natural environment and agricultural industry.
