On Wednesday, April 17, Visiting Fellow Claudia Ribeiro Pereira Nunes was awarded the title of 2019 Emerging Scholar Award in Climate Change by the Eleventh Climate Change: Impacts & Responses Conference on 16-17 April, in Washington DC, United States.
The Emerging Scholar Award to be a rewarding and useful professional and career development experience in the United States, as well. On April 16, she was recognized and introduced at the Conference Opening Session and received an award at the Conference Closing Session. Her primary role was as chairperson in Human Impacts and Impacts on Humans by Climate Change themed panel session.
